Elixir Writing Retreats curates unique writing experiences for writers at all stages of their careers.
Come join us for adventure, fellowship, expert instruction, and rich cultural experiences, all designed to excite, delight, and inspire.
When we first had the idea to hold a writing retreat, we just thought it’d be a fun thing to do. Get together with a bunch of cool people and hang out in an old castle in the French countryside for a week.
What we didn’t know at the time, though, was that we were building something much bigger. And more magical.
We found that taking a deep dive into writing for a week in an inspiring location allowed us to explore our creativity in a way that we couldn’t in regular life. We found that coming together with people who are passionate about writing, whether they’re just starting out or they’re published authors, stimulated us in a way we can’t get every day. We found that spending time in a beautiful setting, with delicious food and great company, fueled both our own writing and our desire to hold more retreats.
In short, we found our own Elixir!
We’re not a conference or a workshop, though we do have daily discussions on writing and can offer critiques. There are plenty of other events like that elsewhere.
Instead, Elixir Writing Retreats are an opportunity for writers to escape their everyday lives and go all in on their writing–to find, reconnect with, or ignite their muse.
